Scubadiving baptism
Take this test if you have doubts about diving.
- Have you been curious about the seabed?
- In any small space with water you take a mask and try to see what's there?
- Do you want to experience breathing under the water?
- Do you feel attracted to the blue ocean and would you like to see it from below?
- Would you like to enjoy a new world?
- Do you want to know what is hidden beyond the surface of the ocean?
- Do you like the idea of "flying" underwater?
- You are just curious to know what it's like?
Well, if you answered YES to 1 or more questions, you need a diving baptism!
What implies?
The diving baptism is the first experience with SCUBA equipment (acronym for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus). It can be done in a pool or in a natural environment.
In Lanzarote we are lucky to have very safe and easily accessible natural spaces that will allow you to experience the underwater world as soon as your legs get wet :D
Our goal is that you have a fun time, learn and want to continue diving. To go forward, we are going to ask you to complete the corresponding documentation and remember that in Spain a medical certificate is required.
We start
First we will tell you a little about the theory, the equipment, and we will show you a couple of exercises that we will do in shallow water, very safe and guided by your instructor. If it's necessary you just stand up and you will be out of the water. All doubts and questions you have, we will be glad to answer them. Then, we prepare the equipment: neoprene, BCD, fins, mask, tank, regulator and weights. Once we have everything, we will be ready to dive!
And how is it?
Once we reach the dive point, which we will choose depending on the weather conditions, we will tell you how we will enter and what we are going to do exactly there. After your first underwater breath with SCUBA, and doing the exercises, we will simply go to dive.We are going to take a look of the underwater life and play with the buoyancy and the incredible sensation of flowing with the ocean!
